Ms. Marroulis Makes Math Simple
December 21, 2018
When Ms. Marroulis, Wilde Lake’s new algebra teacher, isn’t sharing her passion for math with her students, she is spending her time in the great outdoors jogging, gardening, and traveling.
Growing up, she always had a passion for math, and she found her talent for solving math problems and explaining them to others. That’s why she decided to become a math teacher.
She taught at Cabot High School in Arkansas before eventually coming to teach at Wilde Lake. “Everything in that part of the country moves slowly and is more relaxed,” she said. “Everything here is more fast-paced and crowded.”
Though the way of life in Maryland is different, Ms. Marroulis is happy to be doing what she loves: making challenging math simple for her students.

Susie Osborne is a freshman at Wilde Lake High School and is excited for the opportunity to exercise her writing in Journalism I.
