Boys Soccer Wins First State Championship Since 1998 in Overtime
This past weekend, the boys soccer team won the state championship against C.Milton Wright with the score of 1- 0. Meanwhile, the girls were runner ups against Northern High with a score of 0-5. The winning goal for the boys was scored by a possible candidate for Player of the Year, Ousman Touray.
“I didn’t believe it considering I made the shot with my weak foot, we got lucky. Now we just have to come back better than ever next year.”
