Mr. Crouse Strives For Excellence

For Daniel“I want my door open for students to come in and say hello,” said Mr. Crouse, the new tenth grade assistant principal. “I can help with the atmosphere and environment of the school. I can make school positive for everyone by providing students and teachers with the tools to succeed.”

After teaching math in Howard County for the past 26 years, Mr. Crouse thought that becoming an administrator was the next logical step. “I decided I wanted to be an assistant principal. As a teacher, I was limited to helping certain kids. Now I can reach more kids and teachers.”

Mr. Crouse is committed to his work as an administrator. “As an educator, I multitask. I prepare for classes, help teachers and parents, and try to not let one slip. That’s a big challenge in life. Sometimes it is difficult, but I always want to be the best person I can be and be the best at everything I do. My philosophy is to strive for excellence.”

Before coming to the Lake, Mr. Crouse worked at Mt. Hebron High School for 18 years and at Howard High School for 8 years. Mr. Crouse was an Instructional Team Leader until joining the Wilde lake Administrative Team.
